Marie-Eve Poudrier

MSW, RSW

Hi, I’m Marie-Eve Poudrier (she/her/elle). I am a francophone born in Quebec and raised in a rural northern Ontario town where I developed a deep love for nature. I am fully bilingual in French and English and can provide services in both languages. I am a registered social worker and hold a master’s degree in social work from University of Windsor.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused brief therapy (SFTB), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also have a special interest in grief and bereavement, as well as treating anxiety related disorders. I have experience working with individuals experiencing intimate partner violence, as well as clinical experience working in the children and youth mental health sector. In my work, I use an eclectic approach, drawing from multiple modalities, tailoring interventions in partnership with clients that best suits your unique needs. I often use arts-based methods of intervention in my work to explore feelings and help facilitate self-expression in situations that words may not be enough to describe.

I am a compassionate, dedicated and patient individual, who is passionate about accompanying people through their most difficult and vulnerable moments. My hope is that together, we can create a plan that is personalized to you and your unique life journey, where you can feel empowered to move towards healing and become your best version of yourself.
